From Interstate 95 – North or South:

  • Take Exit 15 (Route 7 Connector) and follow to the end (approximately 3 miles).
  • At traffic light, turn RIGHT onto Grist Mill Road -- proceed down hill to second traffic light.
  • Motor Vehicle Department straight ahead of you. Turn RIGHT onto Main Avenue/Route 7.
  • At fifth traffic light (Merritt Shell Gas Station on right) turn RIGHT onto Glover Avenue. You will have passed Merritt 7 Corporate Park (Buildings 101 thru 601) and Merritt River Apartments on right.
  • Merritt on the River is the first driveway on the RIGHT (before the railroad tracks).
  • Main Entrance is on the Eastside of the building facing The Norwalk River. There is an overhang by the door with the number “20” on it. The security guard will direct you to United Way’s suite.
  • Park in any available visitors spot in the parking lot or in any available spot in north end of the parking lot garage.

From Merritt Parkway – North (To New Haven):

  • Take Exit 40B.
  • At end of ramp, bear RIGHT onto Main Avenue/Route 7.
  • Go under the Merritt Parkway overpass.
  • At first traffic light, turn LEFT onto Glover Avenue.
  • Merritt on the River is the first driveway on the RIGHT (before the railroad tracks).
  • Main Entrance is on the Eastside of the building facing The Norwalk River. There is an overhang by the door with the number “20” on it. The security guard will direct you to United Way’s suite.
  • Park in any available visitors spot in the parking lot or in any available spot in north end of the parking lot garage.

From Merritt Parkway – South (To New York):

  • Take Exit 40B. Follow exit ramp (bearing LEFT onto Creeping Hemlock Drive) to traffic light.
  • Cross over Main Avenue/Route 7 to Glover Avenue.
  • Merritt on the River is the first driveway on the RIGHT (before the railroad tracks).
  • Main Entrance is on the Eastside of the building facing The Norwalk River. There is an overhang by the door with the number “20” on it. The security guard will direct you to United Way’s suite.
  • Park in any available visitors spot in the parking lot or in any available spot in north end of the parking lot garage.

From the Danbury Area:

  • Follow signs to Route 7 South.
  • Travel through the towns of Ridgefield and Wilton, into Norwalk.
  • Once in Norwalk, pass WalMart/Staples shopping center on left and proceed through traffic light.
  • Continue South through another traffic light (Motor Vehicle Department on left and Interstate 95 & Route 7 Connector on right).
  • At fifth traffic light (Merritt Shell Gas Station on right) turn RIGHT onto Glover Avenue. You will have passed Merritt 7 Corporate Park (Buildings 101 thru 601) and Merritt River Apartments on right.
