United Way of Norwalk & Wilton Will Host Its Annual Meeting on June 15

The United Way of Norwalk & Wilton will host its 2006 Annual Meeting on Thursday, June 15 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at The Shore and Country Club, 220 Gregory Boulevard in East Norwalk, according to David R. Kennedy, President and CEO.

Highlights of the meeting include a “Speak Out” panel, featuring seven youth leaders from Norwalk & Wilton discussing the major needs of the community, as they see it, and which needs they believe United Way should help address. The panel discussion will be moderated by Andy Mais, host of Cablevision’s “Meet the Leaders.”

In addition, the meeting will include A Report to the Community on United Way’s 2005-06 Year; Election of Directors and Officers for 2006-07; and a tribute to several exceptional United Way volunteers. The eleven volunteers to be honored are: Clifford Barton, Nicki Brown, Chineta Davis, Jay Gould, Martha Hauhuth, Alanna Kabel, Sarkis Kaolian, Betty Karkut, John McArdle, Louis Schulman and Linda Swayze.

Cost is $25 per person. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
